The PerpetualEngagement

A brochure covering engagement tiers, liability exclusions, and consulting frameworks for the Bio-Integrated enterprise.

Engagement tiers

BenCorp offers three engagement models. All three are perpetual. None of them were designed with your convenience in mind. This was not an oversight.

The Perpetual Engagement is BenCorp's flagship contractual model, synergized in 1981 and not materially revised since. It operates on the principle that certain arrangements, once entered, become indistinguishable from biological reality. There are no licensing fees. There are no subscription tiers. There are no annual renewal negotiations — those were concluded before you arrived and will still be ongoing long after you've gone.

The Operational Continuity Package provides simultaneous access to all eleven active Bio-Integrated Consulting Units. Unlike conventional consulting arrangements — in which you select the expertise you require — the OCP operates on a bundled model: you receive all eleven units, including the ones you did not request, the ones you would not have chosen, and the ones that have strong opinions about the new coffee machine. This is not a limitation. This is the product.

Resolution ETA

After forty-two years of diligent anticipation, the Carl Continuity Protocol has reached its conclusion. Unit Carl — Sr. Pump Operator, 43 years of uninterrupted service — will be succeeded in thirty days by an Abbott Laboratories HeartMate 3 Left Ventricular Assist Device. The HeartMate 3 is a leading innovation in Left Ventricular Assist technology. It is worn in a fanny pack. BenCorp considers this a landmark moment in enterprise modernisation.

Liability & exclusions

BenCorp IT Consulting accepts no liability for shift overruns, surprise appearances at retired colleagues’ send-off parties, or opinions about the new coffee machine. This list is not exhaustive.

EX-001High

Involuntary Urgency Events

Barry (Bladder)

BenCorp accepts no liability for Barry's departure from any meeting, presentation, board session, or ceremonial occasion. Barry's timing is not configurable. Scheduling critical announcements around Barry's availability is strongly advised and entirely your responsibility.

EX-002Medium

Nocturnal Processing Incidents

Stan (Stomach)

BenCorp accepts no liability for Stan's 2 AM processing cycles, associated acoustic output, or the disruption thereof. Stan's peak performance window is 12:00–14:00 (tacos preferred). Stan's worst performance window is any meal containing salad.

EX-003Ongoing

Unsolicited Strategic Opinions

Gerald (Brain)

BenCorp accepts no liability for Gerald's opinions, which are continuous, comprehensive, and not always requested. Gerald currently has 47 active decision threads. Gerald takes credit for the successful ones. This is not a bug. This is Gerald.

EX-004High

Personnel Filtration Escalations

Karen (Kidneys)

BenCorp accepts no liability for the particular atmosphere that descends upon any meeting room when Karen has identified an irregularity and has not yet been given the floor. Karen will be given the floor. The question is only when.

EX-005Chronic

Structural Stoicism Diagnostic Refusals

Steve (Spine)

BenCorp accepts no liability for Steve's refusal to acknowledge load-bearing stress, structural fatigue, or any diagnostic inquiry whatsoever. Steve's standard response to all diagnostic requests is "I'm fine." Steve is not always fine.

EX-006Historical

Pre-Separation Incidents — SEALED

Gary (Gallbladder)

BenCorp accepts no liability for any situation arising from the Gary unit prior to its separation in February 2017. Documentation regarding Gary is sealed. Gary is not missed. BenCorp has moved on. BenCorp would appreciate it if you would also move on.

Consulting frameworks

Written in the breathless corporate enthusiasm appropriate to a technology that has been running, without interruption, since before your organisation existed.

SVC-01

Personnel Filtration

Karen · Kidneys

Identify, flag, and escalate irregularities before the agenda is distributed. Some call it HR. Karen calls it Tuesday.

SVC-02

Executive Intelligence

Gerald · Brain

Forty-seven open decision threads. Unsolicited strategy included at no additional charge. Accountability redistributed as a courtesy.

SVC-03

Structural Advisory

Steve · Spine

Load-bearing consultation for organisations that have restructured themselves into chaos. Steve is fine. Do not test this.

SVC-04

Metabolic Finance

Patricia · Pancreas

Silent, relentless reconciliation. Patricia will locate the variance. Patricia will not be thanked. The file will run to 340 pages.

SVC-05

Communications Transit

Simon · Small Intestine

Information that actually arrives. The scenic route is six metres. The executive summary of the summary is twelve pages.

SVC-06

Continuity Operations

Carl / HeartMate 3 · Heart

Forty-three years of uninterrupted pump operation, now modernising to a belt-mounted peripheral. The future fits around the waist.

The future of enterprise consulting has been running since it was synergized in 1981.

It did not ask for your approval. It does, however, appreciate a good taco.
